Reciting the song titles “Feels Like the First Time” or “Double Vision” or “I Want to know What Love Is” all conjure up one particular memory…that is that unmistakable voice of the former lead singer of the band Foreigner, Mr Lou Gramm. Last Friday “The Voice” brought his musical catalog to the Canyon Club & Events Center in Agoura Hills.
With a career filled with top 10 hits and record setting selling albums and after a health scare that forced Gramm into a long recovery he slowly regained his strength and continued his career with his solo band, “Lou Gramm – The Voice of Foreigner”. At the Canyon Club Lou Gramm was surround by a loving and appreciative audience. With his voice sounding in fine form he was at times soft spoken talking to his audience between songs and then driving some of his biggest hits right over the crowd.
An added bonus was the addition of the vocal choir Raise who’s members joined Gramm onstage for one of his biggest hits, “I Want To Know What Love Is”. And they are from L to R(Pictured below): Lisa Margaroli, Ty London, Sonia Harley, Kitten Kuroi, Johnny Manuel & Denise Melissa. A wonderful moment that had everyone smiling and singing along.
