NAMM started off early with a breakfast and a performance by Jake Shimabukuro and presentation with NAMM president Joe Lamond.
Next was hitting the convention and seeing as much as possible before it got too packed.

ROTODRUM drums are cool. You can remove the drum heads and space out the toms and the bass drums. The hardware also swivels on a ball joint, which was quite impressive
Satchel from Steel Panther did a guitar clinic at FISHMAN
Bill Hudson of TSO and Savatage did a clinic over at ESP
Eric Singer of KISS at Pearl Drums.
Then it was off the the RUSH TRIBUTE SHOW at M3 to end the evening.
