Jam-Band Goose has been on tour consistently since May 2021 and even in 2020 played a number of dates.Goose stopped at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA last night. Goose follows a legacy of bands like The Grateful Dead, Phish, Umphrey’s Mcgee. Goose formed in 2014 in CT with guitarist/vocalist Rick Mitarotonda, bassist Trevor Weekz, and drummer Ben Atkind. Keyboardist Peter Anspach was added in 2017 and percussionist Jeff Arevalo in 2020. The opening act was Lawrence featuring siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence. Like any traditional jam band the show was broken into two sets and there was a lot of dancing and lengthy songs. Goose opened with “California Magic” and were joined by singing duo Lucius for Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes” and “Slow Ready” for the last two songs of their first set.  The second set was five songs starting with “Madhuvan” and ending with “Hot Tea,” which Jason Hann joined in for.

Goose has dates all the way through November 19th.
