LA KISS (website Facebook Twitter Instagram) will deliver over 300 teddy bears to the Santa Ana Police Department on Wednesday, September 7th at 10:00 am PST.
The SAPD will utilize these donations to comfort and distract children from traumatic situations.
“Any time we can give back to the community, it’s a huge honor,” said LA KISS CEO Joe Windham. “Southern California has done so much to support our team and we’re extremely fortunate to be able to have this opportunity to give back.”
Windham, along with LA KISS players, office staff and dance team, will be in attendance to present the bears to the police department. The LA KISS are passionate about being involved and making an impact in the community and look forward to giving back on September 7th.
It was the best season of football yet for the LA KISS that saw the team in the playoffs with home field advantage. Not only did KISS play at the Honda Center twice on opening day (once for season ticket holders and once again at halftime for the game), but there were appearances from owners Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley throughout the season.
There were many great community outreach efforts and special offers this season including free tickets to a special home game for all fans and many special perks for season ticket holders. All the on-field action, exciting halftime shows, musical acts, TV stars, plus appearances by sports legends and players from the Angels and Rams made each game an enjoyable family friendly event. The next season of the Arena Football League will most likely take place in late March or early April, 2017.
Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons brought pro football to Los Angeles with the formation of LA KISS Football. Now in their third year, LA KISS has become a phenomenon by taking the KISS mentality and applying it to a sports team. LA KISS represents the fusion of entertainment and sports like no other brand and delivers an all-encompassing in-game experience that is second to none. LA KISS ownership combines over 40 years of success in both entertainment, sports and business. The leadership team looks to challenge and redefine the term “sports entertainment” by applying the KISS mindset to everything they do.
