WHY: Medlock and Krieger, friends of more than 25 years share a passion for philanthropy and have organized this event to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.® This year they will honor James Peterson, CEO of Microsemi, who has been instrumental in the success of the event and a huge supporter for the mission of St. Jude to find cures & save the lives of children suffering from pediatric cancer and other deadly diseases. After raising more than $405,000 last year, they hope to raise more than $500,000 to help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Last year’s concert featured Rock & Roll Hall of Fame artists including Robby Krieger (The Doors), Alex Lifeson (RUSH), Alice Cooper, Tommy Thayer (KISS), Danny Seraphine (Chicago/CTA), David Sikes (Boston), Lita Ford, Sebastian Bach, Brett Scallions (Fuel), legendary bass player Phil Chen, Manzarek Krieger and Wild Child vocalist Dave Brock, young blues guitar phenom Ray Goren and other great guests. It was an incredible production with a lot of great entertainment and it raised a lot of money for a great cause.
