DAVID LEE ROTH LEAVING LUCKY STRIKE LIVE AFTER ULTIMATE JAM NIGHT 44

ULTIMATE JAM 44 Lucky Strike Hollywood Hollywood & Highland Center Hollywood, CA

Just before taking the stage to a packed crowd, the Lucky Strike Live Ultimate Jam prematurely ended due to an issue after Set #1 with the Fire Marshal and the entire second set was scrapped.

The cancelled performance would have marked the first time in 30 years that David Lee Roth of Van Halen joined guitar hero Steve Vai, bass legend Billy Sheehan of The Winery Dogs and Mr. Big, Greg Bissonette, drummer for Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, and keyboardist Brett Tuggle, to perform some of the hits from the classic “Eat Em and Smile” album.

Previously announced guest vocalist Michael Starr/ Ralph Saenz (a.k.a “David Lee Ralph”) from Steel Panther was slated to joined Vai, Bissonette and Sheehan and would have performed later in the set; as would have Phil X and The Drills and many more.

The highlight of set one was John 5 & The Creatures – footage from the FIRST SET
