LUCKY STRIKE LIVE JAM 2015  by Todd Headlee

This may be the best JAM NIGHT that you could ever attend!!

Every song is a recognizable hit that evokes a memory.  It doesn’t matter if you’re 21 or over 80, the Jam Night at Lucky Strike Hollywood and Highland is something you must attend at least once.

The artists put on an amazing performance taking the audience on a journey through years of classic and modern rock-n-roll anthems will leave you wanting more and certainly encouraging you to come back the next week.

Vocals and instrument mastery performed so in your face, it’s a wonder the womens make-up doesn’t melt and guys’ hair fall out.

From the incredible guitarists (bring ear plugs), outstanding vocals, in-demand drummers and the finest bassists that come together to perform a show to be remembered that you’re surely going to tell your friends about for days after seeing it!!

Over the last several weeks we have seen, Gilby Clarke, Matt Starr, Chuck Wright, Jason Sutter, Glen Sobel, Graham Bonnett, Beth-Ami Heavenstone, Mitch Perry, Joe Retta, Stuart Smith, The Okai sisters, Casey Moss, Gabbie Rae, Besty Bitch, Phil Campbell, Willie Chambers,  Ann Boleyn, Damon Fox, Ira Black, Dug Pinnick, August Zandra, Francesco DiCosmo, Dave Keckhut, Joshua Ray, Louis Metoyer, Mike Hansen, Neil Turbin, Paulie Z, Phil X, Roby Duron, Roy Mayorga, Sean McNabb, Simon Wright, Tracey Singleton, Tanya O’Callaghan and MANY otherslay down some of the most notable rock hits of all time.

Aside from the “A” list artists there is also an up-n-comers spotlight. Last week we saw The Moderates perform a revamped modern take on REO Speedwagons classic “Roll with the Changes” that I must say really kicked ass. These young guys are part of the future of rock, so check them out,

And you certainly can’t miss the legends spotlight that is becoming a regular occurrence.

Week 7 brought us the Willie Chambers of the Chamber Brothers (safe to say everyone in attendance was floored).

There’s also a Burlesque performance and special in show treats that change weekly, like Trippy the Clown.

If you love music, you must come down on a Wednesday night and partake in some good old fashion rock tunes.

Did I mention IT”S FREE to get in???

  1. So. many great performances it’s hard to pick the best! Standouts to me were hearing Frankenstein performed the way its supposed to be (haven’t heard it in a long time). Also the AC/DC song with the bag-pipes and the former drummer of AC/DC! Ann Boleyn was amazing too! (Can’t remember the last time I heard her doing a cover song!) Keep up the great work. You guys are making hump days tollerable!
