Australian duo Air Supply played a sold out show at the Grove of Anaheim December 14th. The band took the stage at 8 P.M. with no opener playing around two hours. Air Supply had eight top five hits in the Billboard Hot 100 and played seven of them with “Sweet Dreams” and “Even The Nights are Better” as the first two songs and throughout the set played,” “Lost In Love,” “Every Woman in the World,” “Here I Am,” and the last song before the encore was “Making Love Out of Nothing At All.” The encore was Badfinger’s “Without You” and “All Out of Love.” Air Supply was founded by Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell. Air Supply’s touring band consists of lead guitarist and musical director since 2011 Aaron McLain, keyboardist Mirko Tessandori since 2016, bassist Doug Gild since 2017, and newest member drummer Pavel Valdman joined in 2020. Air Supply released their self-titled debut album in 1976 and since then have released a total of 20 albums. In 2013 they were inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame.
