Matteo Mancuso, born in 1996 in Palermo, was introduced to music by his father, renowned guitarist and producer Vincenzo Mancuso. After high school, he founded the Snips trio, gaining acclaim for their fusion take on classic standards, including his viral YouTube cover of “The Chicken.” A Yamaha Guitars collaborator, he has performed at NAMM, judged the “Young Guitar Festival” in Bangkok, and conducted masterclasses in Russia. His debut album The Journey, released in July 2023, reflects his diverse influences and musical roots. Praised by legends like Dweezil Zappa, Joe Bonamassa, and Steve Vai, Matteo continues to captivate over 180,000 YouTube subscribers.
