Brit Floyd, the world’s premier Pink Floyd tribute band, closed out their tour at the Majestic Ventura Theater December 1st. In honor of the 50th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon, the album was played in its entirety, but spread out across the two sets. Brit Floyd is one of the most successful tribute bands in the world.  Pink Floyd’s backing vocalist Durga McBroom was a special guest at select shows including this one and the YouTube Theater the night before and joined in for “Great Gig in the Sky.” McBroom toured with the David Gilmour led Pink Floyd starting in 1987 until 1994 when the band broke up. Playing keyboards on the tour was Roger Waters’ son Harry who began playing live with his father in 2002 starting with In the Flesh later The Wall Live 2010-2013) tour. In addition to Dark Side of the Moon, songs from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and Animals were performed. 
 Alan Parsons’ Project vocalist P.J. Olsson sang lead on “Wish You Were Here,” and a duet with Ian Cattell on “Comfortably Numb.” It was announced that Parsons himself was in attendance. Parsons was the sound engineer on Dark Side of the Moon. The show closed with an encore of Run Like Hell.
