Tori Amos played the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA Tuesday night with Tow’rs. This was part of Amos’s Ocean to Ocean tour which was her most recent album release (2021). Since the release of Amos’s debut album Little Earthquakes, she has released a total of 16 albums, six of which were certified between Gold and 2x Platinum. Amos has also received eight Grammy nominations, Amos performed as a trio with bassist Jon Evans and Ash Soan who have each played with a number of great artists. You can expect a different setlist each show and for this show the opening song was “God” which rotates with “A Sorta Fairytale.” This was followed by “Crucify” and the title track from Ocean To Ocean. Amos played both a grand piano and keyboards and in some cases both at the same time like on “Crucify.” The nearly two-hour show of 18 songs also included covers of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “I’m on Fire.” The last song before the four song encore was “Cornflake Girl.” The encore included songs not performed live in 9-15 years which were “She’s Your Cocaine,” “Teenage Hustling,” “Strong Black Vine,” and “The Waitress.”

Amos returned to stage as her fictional character Pip from her 2007 album American Doll Posse with a different outfit and wearing a black wig
