Legendary 80’s Christian Metal band Stryper played a sold out show at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA Tuesday Night (6/6). The band still consists of ¾ of the classic lineup with the founders Michael (Guitar/Lead Vocals) and Robert (Drums) and guitarist Oz Fox. Bassist Perry Richardson of Firehouse joined in 2017. Stryper’s debut album The Yellow and Black Attack was released in 1984 and since then the band has released a total of 13 studio albums with the most being The Final Battle released last year.  On the U.S. top Christian Albums Chart, Stryper has had a number one, four that went to two, and another six that were in the top 10. After 10 years together the band broke up and would reunite a few times 1999-2001 until 2003 when they would stay together until present day. Stryper played around 90 minutes with hits like “Sorry,” “Soldiers Under Command,” and the final song “To Hell With the Devil.”

Stryper will be on tour again next year celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut album.
