The magic and the music of The Beatles will surely live up to the predictions of the band’s producer George Martin, who was quoted as saying: “This generation and every single generation to come will all rediscover The Beatles and their music”.

To assist in making sure this indeed happens, 4 guys that call themselves The Fab Four will be one of those bands that will be at the forefront of this musical rediscovery.

Ardy, Ron, Gavin & Erik have taken the tribute world by storm.  After almost close to 20 years together with a couple band members changing in and out, The Fab Four appears to be firing on all cylinders.

Friday night the band played its annual post-Thanksgiving concert and those in attendance experienced a real treat.

Lead by conductor/arranger Wendell Kelly, who was asked to extrapolate and arrange all the Beatles orchestral arrangements that appear on the original tracks and prepare a 21 piece orchestra to play all of it LIVE on stage to accompany the Fab Four….and it all appeared flawless.  It was all indeed very splendid time.

  1. […] #3 – The Fab Four Holiday Concert Continuing in their annual day after Thanksgiving Holiday Concert, the widely popular Beatles tribute band The Fab Four decided to go a little crazy this year and perform with the backing of a full orchestra.  As many of you know, the later years music by the Beatles included orchestral backings, some with just strings, some with only a horn section but a handful of popular tunes included a full orchestra. Having experienced a few Fab Four concerts in my time I can say without question that having the immersive feel of a live orchestra is an entirely different experience no Beatles or Fab Four fan should miss.  The songs felt fresher than before. They felt enlivened and I got the sense the band felt energized by the experience as well. […]
