Knotfest 2015 Day 1 kicked off yesterday at San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA.
Attracting thousands of metal fans from SoCal and beyond, the event featured tons of entertainment including rides, a Slipknot museum, a Festival Zipline, camping for those who wanted to stay overnight, and, of course, an abundance of music.

Some of the best in the heavy metal genre gathered yesterday at the grounds of the amphitheater to bring on some chaos and madness to the fans.

With 5 stages spread out through the ground of the venue, dozens of bands delivered heart-pumping performances each day (135 total). Some of the notable guests from day one were Body Count fronted by Ice-T
Even with the guitar going off right at the beginning of their set, he kept on entertaining the audience with his signature jokes.
GWAR, as usual, delivered another one of their graphic performances featuring blood spitting. So if you were front row for GWAR, you are definitely doing laundry today.
Corrosion Of Conformity kicked off the entertainment on the Main Stage shortly after 5PM.

Followed by Trivium and Mastodon, the stage kept on attracting a larger audience. If you were in the front and looked back, you could probably notice a sea of people ready to rock it with legendary Korn. The kings of headbanging went on at 8:30 and played for over an hour before “Metal Gods” Judas Priest took the stage at 10:15 pm and closed out the first day of the festival with solid heavy metal performance.
